    FLIPBOOK – Animation between the fingers

    On September 25, 2025, at 5 p.m., the exhibition “DAUMENKINO – Animation between the fingers” opened at OBRAT – Space for Art and Participation in Maribor. The exhibition will be on display until October 25, 2025, and invites visitors to discover the fascination of flipbooks in all their facets.

    From hand-drawn to experimental – FLIPT! brings together art, humor, and pocket-sized cinema. Come by, discover the award-winning works, and flip through the creative flipbooks

    While the familiar FLIPT! wooden cube design frames the Austrian works, international submissions are framed by an anamorphic line drawing in the second room. This heralds the planned international opening of the festival—these works will be presented at the FLIPT! Festival in Linz in 2026.
